Devil's Lake Hike
Please join Joint Venture Club and the Graduate Business Association for a hike to Devil's Lake State Park one week from today (use the link for directions). Saturday, September 23 at 11:30, we will gather at the park's north side for an afternoon of food and scenic hiking. We will begin to eat at around noon, and hiking will commence after lunch as people feel like it.
About a 45-minute drive west of Madison, the park is free of charge and features a public beach, numerous hiking trails, gorgeous scenery, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and grills. It is a very kid-friendly location and is open to all levels of hiking skill and experience.
Joint Venture Club will provide hot dogs and brats, along with all other grilling extras like charcoal, buns, ice, condiments, plates, and utensils. If you would like to attend, please bring either a side dish, desert or drink to share. Please note that alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in the park.
Since the event is free of charge and requires only a food contribution, the event is open to anyone associated with the UW-Madison MBA program! We hope you and your families can attend!
